Ch. Nisar refuses to confirm Mullah Akhtar Mansoor killing

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ch. Nisar made it clear that Pakistani government cannot confirm killing of Mullah Akhtar Mansoor until the completion of investigation while it was completely wrong claim that Pakistani authorities had been informed before attack.


While addressing a press conference here at today in Islamabad, Ch. Nisar said that one of the two man that were targeted by US drone attack in Baluchistan area of Iftada had been identified and his body was given to relatives while other man was not identified yet because his body was burnt completely in this attack.


He added that security forces and FC Personnel reached the scene after drone attack but they did not find anything expect completely ruin vehicle, burn bodies and a passport while investigation is underway over the passport.


While condemning the drone attack in Pakistan territory, Ch. Nisar pointed out that drone attack was against the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan as well as violation of United Nation Charter.


He further added that a clear stance would be presented by Pakistan before nation and world in upcoming days, conducting a meeting of National Security Council after the return of PM Nawaz in Pakistan.
