NATO has confirmed that it is planning a storage facility for US military equipment in Poland, as the alliance steps up its defenses in the face of increased Russian assertiveness.
NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg told Wall Street Journal that 260 million dollar facility will be located in west of Warsaw, and will house armored vehicles, ammunition and weapons for a brigade.
Building work will start later this year and is expected to take two years.
