NEW DELHI: Modi congrats Nawaz via letter on Pakistan Day 

 

NEW DELHI: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif via a letter on Pakistan Day.

 

Modi said in a message “I would like to reiterate India’s desire to build neighbourly relations with Pakistan. India remains firmly committed to resolving all outstanding issues with Pakistan through a peaceful bilateral dialogue in an atmosphere free from terrorism and violence.”

 

Modi also greeted to the people of Pakistan on national day.

 

Recently, Indian President Parnab Mukherjee also greeted Pakistani people and committed to built friendly and peaceful relations with the country for the progress and prosperity of the region.

 

Pakistan Day was also celebrated worldwide including Jammu and Kashmir where Kashmiri people hoisted Pakistani Flag to express their solidarity with Pakistan.

 

Pakistan Day was also celebrated with great respect and honour at home and President Mamnoon Hussain and Nawaz Sharif also addressed the nation.
