LAHORE: Dolphin Force will be the new face of Punjab Police: CM Shahbaz Sharif 

LAHORE: Punjab government has formed a new Dolphin force, on Turkish Police pattern to eradicate street crimes in Lahore while Dolphin force is totally different from traditional police force and equipped with various advance weapons.


As per details, Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif was the chief guest of Dolphin Police passing out parade held at Chung training centre today (Thursday) while provincial ministers, Turkish Ambassador, senior Police Officials and relatives of the constables who passed out training were also present in passing out ceremony.


688 constable had been trained in first phase at Chung Training Centre while services of Turkish Dolphin force experts and officers were hired for the recruitment of first Dolphin batch.


While addressing the passing out ceremony Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif congratulated the passed out constables expressing his hope that new force will be helpful to eliminate the street crimes in Lahore. He also thanked Turkish trainers for their  cooperation with Punjab police in the recruitment of Dolphin force.


Dolphin force will be equipped with heavy bikes, waterproof uniform, advance helmets, Breta Pistol and advance MP-5 Rifle to eradicate the street crimes. While responding to 15 call now Dolphin Police will first reach immediately at crime scene.
