Afghanistan: 27 security personnel killed in Paktika

KABUL: In Afghanistan, at least twenty seven security force members have been killed in clashes with Taliban militants in southeastern Paktika province.
Provincial council members said clashes, which are ongoing, started yesterday in Argon, Wormamai and Wazi Khwa districts after Taliban attacked security check posts.
They said eight border police and two local policemen were killed in a Taliban ambush in Argon and rest of the security forces were killed in other districts.
