Can Pakistan emerge as a bridge between China and US in evolving global order

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Security, Dr. Moeed Yusuf has said that Pakistan is beginning talks with new US administration on new dimensions to further enhance bilateral ties and collaborate on global challenges of common interest.

Speaking in Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs programm, he said our concerns about India will also be put forth to newly elected US President, but our prime focus will be on the issues of global health, investment in Pakistan and others.

Moeed Yusuf said we are going to adopt a different approach in strengthening Pak-US relations.

The Special Assistant on National Security expressed the hope that Pakistan can work as a bridge between the United States and China in the evolving global order in the coming years.

Meanwhile, addressing a webinar, Dr.Moeed Yusuf said Pakistan is squarely focused on the economic security paradigm, while on the hand; India is pursuing Hindutva ideology with an expansionist agenda.

He said India has a conflict with almost its neighbouring countries, and has broken all international law obligations, which is a classic example of a rogue state.

Dr Moeed Yusuf stressed that the malicious campaign against Pakistan has been going on even before the latest revelations of Indian Chronicles which is just the tip of the iceberg.

He said that Pakistan has already written to the EU Parliament regarding DisinfoLab revelations and investigations are already underway.

The Special Assistant on National Security said it is a failure of the UN system that allows such fake NGOs to function.

He said this has been a full-fledged attack on Pakistan short of war and added that India must stop its subversive activities against Pakistan and resolve the Kashmir issue under the international law to bring peace in the region.
