Farooq claims E Governance vision of his government

MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Raja Farooq Haider Khan claims that E governance was the vision of his government and said that all institutions of AJK would be made digitalized.

He was addressing a first ever digital conference which was jointly organized by AJK Information Technology Board, ABACUS, Siemens and SAP here on Wednesday.

He said that our people are very genius and they quickly accept the modern technology. “we have entered into digital era that demands skill development of youths and AJK has great potential in tourism and human resources and by using the technology we can   able to achieve the enormous benefits from its utilization in a better way.” he added.

The conference was also addressed by Minister for TEVTA and IT board AJK Dr. Mustafa Bashir, Secretary IT and Tourism Midhat Shehzad, DG IT Board Dr. Khalid Lateef, SAP Industries Head Heesham Maya, Senior SAP Ferjeel Javed and others.

Minister for Sports Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Minister for Higher Education Col. Rtd. Waqar Ahmed Noor, Transport Minister Nasir Dar, Additional Chief Secretary General Farhut Ali Mir, Secretaries and other high officials of the government were also present on the occasion.

The AJK prime Minister asserted that Information Technology board has completed many projects successfully that facilitated the masses a lot and the youths were getting skills in order to get employment abroad he said.

Farooq observed that our government was heading towards the digital and progressive Kashmir and saying that getting out from traditional system and entering into digital system was the need of the hour he add.
