Chinese ambassador calls on defence production minister

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing Wednesday discussed bilateral ties especially in the fields of defence industry.
“China Pakistan Economic Corridor will ensure development in Balochistan province,” she said during a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador who called on him here, a press release said.
She also emphasized the need for expansion of cooperation between Pakistan and China to utilize the potential of next generation technological advancements.
The minister expressed satisfaction over cooperation between the two countries in the field of defence cooperation.
She also emphasized the need to enhance cooperation between two countries for the development in social sector including healthcare and education in Balochistan.
The minister said cooperation between Pakistan and China was imperative for the regional peace and security.
The Chinese ambassador congratulated the minister on her new assignment.
