Chris Gayle breaks silence over his PSL 6 tour to Pakistan

The ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle, who is a part of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Quetta Gladiators, acknowledged that it is pleasing to tour Pakistan.

In his recent interview during PSL 6, Chris Gayle link said, “I am glad to be playing cricket at this particular time. Playing during this particular time is a blessing. Hopefully, things can get better in the future.”

Gayle is also known as the only player to smash more than a thousand sixes in T20 cricket.

On touring Pakistan for the first time since being part of the West Indies team on their 2006 tour, the all-rounder acknowledges it’s pleasing to tour the country.

“It’s good to be in Pakistan after 15 years,” said Gayle, who will leave shortly to feature in the West Indies’ T20I against Sri Lanka back home.”

“It’s fantastic! I did not get a full house based on restrictions, but it was good to see some people. It was good to have a blast. I am looking forward to continuing playing in Pakistan,” he added.

Speaking more about Prime Minister Imran Khan, who remained a legendary cricketer for more than twenty years, Gayle said, “That’s fantastic to see a cricketer being a Prime Minister. It’s a wonderful thing.”

On his self-styled claim of being “Universe Boss”, he went on to add that, “I am the only Prime Minister of the entire Caribbean because I am the Universe Boss.

“So you know what is the universe? Well, I’m the Prime Minister,” Gayle added.
