Over 15 people injured in violent clashes in Indian capital New Delhi

NEW DELHI - Over 15 people injured in violent clashes in Indian capital New Delhi.

In India, 15 people, including six policemen, were injured in clashes between anti and pro-Citizenship Amendment Act groups in Jafrabad and Maujpur areas of New Delhi.

The protestors came face to face leading to heavy stone-pelting and vandalizing of vehicles and shops in the area.

Police used tear gas shells to disperse the warring groups but struggled to contain the situation.
