Indian media apologises from Pakistani singer Atif Aslam for naming his son 'Alhamdulilah'

NEW DELHI - Indian media apologises from Pakistani singer Atif Aslam for naming his son 'Alhamdulilah'.Soon after acclaimed singer Atif Aslam announced the birth of his second child, an Indian tabloid wrote that Atif Aslam has named his son Alhamdullilah.

Because of the singer's caption, "Our new arrival Alhamdulilah”, the Indian tabloid Desi Martini got confused and shared the news titled, “Atif Aslam and wife welcome their second child, names him Alhamdullilah.”

Later Desi Martini admitted and apologized for their mistake in a tweet.

“An error in our copy on #AtifAslam claiming the name of his child wrong has been fixed. We sincerely apologise for the error and any misunderstanding or misinterpretation it may have caused,” the tabloid wrote.

Atif Aslam had announced the birth of his second child by sharing a photo of the new arrival.

He wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen our NEW arrival Alhamdulilah. Both mother and baby are fine. Keep us in your prayers and don’t forget to say Mashallah.”

After dating Sara Bharwana for years, Atif Aslam married her in an extravagant and traditional ceremony on March 29, 2013.

The grand and splendid wedding ceremony was followed by a reception.
