Foreign Minister leaves for three-day visit to four countries

On the first leg of his four-nation visit, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi left for Kabul on Monday morning.
During his three-day visit to Afghanistan, Iran, China and Russia, the Foreign Minister will discuss international situation, region of cooperation and Afghan reconciliation process with leaders of these countries.
He will also discuss bilateral ties, investment and enhancement of bilateral trade with leadership of the friendly countries.
Earlier, talking to PTV before his departure, the Foreign Minister said Pakistan wants peace and stability in the region.
He said the aim of his visit is to take the friendly countries into confidence on recent developments in the region.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said we should understand each others' problems and sit together to find solution to them.
He said all forces of the region would have to take joint responsibility for the sake of lasting peace and development in the region.
