Reham Khan breaks silence over the issue of being the first lady

LONDON - The former wife of PM Imran Khan, Reham Khan has broken silence over the issue of being the first lady.

She on Friday said on twitter that becoming the first lady was never her motivation. She did not want to live “in the shadow of a man.”

Reham made the statement while sharing a couple of “women’s rights” lessons with her followers. She stressed that getting married and staying married was no achievement as a woman does not become a failure if she chooses to divorce.

In fact, it shows that she does not tolerate unfair treatment.

Reham added that ambitious women were often put down by society, but there is nothing wrong in “a woman wanting to be in the limelight”.

“Never apologise for being around other insecure people”, she said.
