ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar underwent angioplasty at Rawalpindi’s Institute of Cardiology.

Safdar was shifted to the hospital’s cath lab and is under observation.

He is serving a one-year sentence after being found guilty in the Avenfield reference case.
