ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s son-in-law Captain (retd) Safdar underwent angioplasty at Rawalpindi’s Institute of Cardiology.
Safdar was shifted to the hospital’s cath lab and is under observation.
The doctors have said that the decision of shifting him to prison will be taken within a day or two.
Safdar was rushed to the medical facility when his condition deteriorated on August 21, 2018.
He is serving a one-year sentence after being found guilty in the Avenfield reference case.
