Govt working on several projects under CPEC: Murad

ISLAMABAD:Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that provincial government is working on several projects under CPEC including power plants.
He was addressing CPEC summit 2018 in Karachi today.
The Chief Minister said that Sindh government is working on a power project in Wind Corridor of 300 megawatt capacity, which will be completed by October this year.
Syed Murad Ali Shah said that initial work for coal mining in Thar Coal will be completed this year while power generation from Thar Coal Block-2 will start from May next year.
He said that government is also establishing special economic zones under CPEC while projects of Thar Coal, Keti Bander and Karachi Circular Railway has also been included in the Corridor.
The Chief Minister said that provincial government is ensuring security to all the investors including Chinese nationals working on various projects in Sindh. APP/AFP
