Agreement signed for construction of hydel power station on River Kunhar

ISLAMABAD:The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization and the Asian Development Bank have signed an agreement in Islamabad for the construction of a hydel power station on River Kunhar in District Mansehra.
Under the agreement, the Bank will provide six hundred and forty five million dollar for the construction of the hydel power station.
It will be completed in five years. The station will produce three hundred megawatt electricity. APP/AFP
