CPEC Centre jointly inaugurated at Zhejian Normal University China

HYDERABAD: The China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Centre has been established at Zhejiang Normal University (ZNU) China which have been jointly inaugurated by Vice Chancellor University of Sindh Jamshoro, Prof. Dr. Fateh Muhammad Burfat and his Chinese counterpart, Dr Zheng Mengzuang.
The university spokesman informed here on Monday that according to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the inauguration ceremony, the same centre would be also established at Sindh University.
Both the centres would collaborate in academic and research activities and undertake work to chalk out new strategies in terms of introducing new research projects.
Vice Chancellor University of Sindh said that after establishing C-PEC Centre at Sindh University, he would invite President of Zhejiang Normal University to inaugurate it.
Both the centres would setup think tanks to work jointly on the corridor and go ahead with deep research on CPEC, he added.
Dr Burfat thanked his ZNU counterpart for inviting him and Dr. Hamadullah Kakepoto to inaugurate CPEC Centre.
Terming the establishment of CPEC Centre as of huge importance, he expressed hope that both the centres of Sindh and Normal Universities would make efforts for promoting academic and research activities and help both governments with their valuable outputs.
The President Zhejiang Normal University Zheng Mengzuang on the occasion said that it was a great landmark in the history of both universities that two similar centres were being established together to carry research activities on CPEC.
He said that China and Pakistan were brother countries and the relations of the two countries were deep than sea. (APP)
