Pakistan’s participation in World Cup in India met with uncertainty

Pakistan’s participation in World Cup in India met with uncertainty as India didn't issue visas for Pakistani team as promised.

For the 2023 World Cup, the Pakistan cricket squad has faced a delay in obtaining Indian visas. According to sources, Pakistan's cricket team has only 7 days left until their first warm-up match in the Cricket World Cup, but they have not yet received Indian visas.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is concerned about the visa process for the national squad and has informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) about this issue.

According to reports, PCB has stated that visas have not been issued on time as per the agreement, and Indian authorities have not provided any information regarding visas for the national squad and officials.

According to reports, PCB has been in contact with the Indian consulate for a week, and at the beginning of the week, they were told that visas would be processed soon. However, the week has come to an end, and the visas have not been obtained.

The Pakistan squad is scheduled to depart for Dubai, India, on September 26, where Pakistan's first warm-up match is scheduled against New Zealand on September 29.
