Nawaz Sharif ditches Asif Zardari yet again

Former President Asif Zardari had complained that Nawaz Sharif is once again not fulfilling his promise of seat adjustment with People's Party as was agreed between the PDM Alliance. He had reached the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, where he inquired about the well-being of the former Prime Minister. During this time, there was also a discussion between President Asif Ali Zardari and Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain regarding the country's political situation.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Chaudhry Shafay Hussain were also present at the meeting between Asif Ali Zardari and Chaudhry Shujaat. According to ARY News report, Chaudhry Shujaat expressed dissatisfaction with the promise of seat adjustment in Punjab made during the meeting with Asif Ali Zardari.
He said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had promised seat adjustment with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), but there has been no response so far. Asif Zardari assured Chaudhry Shujaat of his commitment to discuss seat adjustment with the PML-N. In addition, Chaudhry Shujaat emphasized that the country cannot afford political instability and that, given the current situation, there is a need for cooperation.
He also stated that recent political alignments of the People's Party and the PML-N should come to an end, and he intends to discuss political alliances with Nawaz Sharif as well.
