ICC announces date for another international tournament

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the date for the Under-19 T20 World Cup 2024. According to the ICC, the Under-19 World Cup 2024 will commence on January 13th with a match between host Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Defending champion India will start their campaign the next day against Bangladesh.
This tournament, consisting of 41 matches, will run for 23 days at five venues in Colombo.
The top 11 complete member teams from the 2022 edition have directly qualified, and five teams - Namibia, Nepal, New Zealand, Scotland, and the United States - have earned their spots through regional qualification matches.
