Former Federal Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that an extension was granted to COAS General Bajwa by Prime Minister and PML-N only passed legislation in the national assembly, as the Supreme Court had stated that there is no law of extension; whether to grant an extension or not was at the discretion of the Prime Minister. He further said that why there should not be accountability for General Bajwa and General Faiz Hameed.
He discussed on Geo News program and mentioned that the media reports about Shahbaz Sharif are not accurate, there is no truth to the speculations surrounding Nawaz Sharif's return, and his statement remains unchanged; it was the same in 2018. Shahbaz Sharif's advice is unrelated to the statement or return, and many things can happen.
The consultation between Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif will continue in the coming days, and their visits to London will continue. Faisal Vawda may express his distress towards us as much as he wants; he may start using foul language. He has personally faced significant discomfort, and if Faisal Vawda has any issues with the Shahbaz Sharif government, he should not resort to such vile language.
Jahangir Tareen has his own perspective; Nawaz Sharif did not initially mention anything, and he also spoke with a name at the Gujranwala rally. Nawaz Sharif believes that institutions should stay within their boundaries. We are here due to unconstitutional interventions. On September 18, Nawaz Sharif did not say anything unusual. Why shouldn't there be accountability for General Bajwa or Faiz Hamid?
