ISLAMABAD - *Asia’s biggest donkey market is being held in Badin’s Tando Ghulam Ali.*
This 100-year-old market is spread out over four acres and has around 3,000 donkeys on display.
There were Lassi, Larree, Irani, Tharya, Takar and other types of donkeys at the market, which is being held for two days.
The donkeys are usually bought to pull carts or for other labour. Most donkeys at the market are brought by single owners who also use them to pull carts. They come and browse the market and buy another donkey or two if they take a liking to them.
