Foton Group of China to manufacture automobiles in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The Foton Group of China Friday expressed keen interest to invest in manufacturing a range of automobiles in Pakistan.
A delegation from Foton Group China called on the Finance Minister and appreciated the pro-investment policies of the government.

Among others the meeting was attended by Chairman Board of Investment and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Revenue.
The Finance Minister welcomed the delegation and appreciated its plans for investment in Pakistan.

He said that the government has earlier this year announced the new auto policy for the next five years and encouraged the Chinese company to make use of the opportunities for investment offered under this policy, in consultation with the Chairman BOI.
