Ishaq Dar Assets Beyond Means case: Accountability Court announces the reserved verdict

The Islamabad Accountability Court acquitted former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the case of assets beyond known income. In the reference regarding assets beyond known income against Ishaq Dar, Justice Muhammad Bashir of the Islamabad Accountability Court delivered the verdict.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) stated in its written reply submitted to the court that they do not object to the acquittal of Ishaq Dar and other accused on merit.

The court examined the evidence and passed the judgment. The Prosecutor General instructed me to appear in the accountability court.

Ishaq Dar's lawyer informed the court that in the NAB reply, it is stated that no evidence was found against my client, and in light of this statement, my client should be acquitted. The court accepted the plea and acquitted Ishaq Dar.
