Afghanistan player of the match Zardan taunts Pakistan on Afghan Refugees expulsion after superb victory

In a taunt, Afghan batter Ibrahim Zadran, after receiving the Player of the Match award, chose to dedicate it to the Afghan refugees facing expulsion from Pakistan. This heartfelt gesture came following Afghanistan's historic victory over Pakistan in an ODI cricket match during the World Cup in Chennai.

In the match, Pakistan batted first and set a target of 283 runs for Afghanistan, losing seven wickets in the process. Captain Babar Azam scored 74 runs off 92 balls, and opener Abdullah Shafique contributed with a fifty, scoring 58 runs from 75 balls.

Afghanistan's pursuit of the target was successful, and they lost only two wickets in the process. The top three batters of the Afghan team, including Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran, played crucial roles by each scoring fifty runs.

Zadran's outstanding performance, where he made 87 runs off 113 balls, earned him the Player of the Match award, which he dedicated to the Afghan refugees.
