Bad news for the Pakistani Cricket fans

Pakistan's T20I tour of the Netherlands in 2024 has been postponed until further notice, primarily due to scheduling conflicts and concerns surrounding player workload.

The tour was originally intended to serve as a three-match T20I series, strategically positioned as preparation for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the United States.

Roland Lefebvre, the High-performance manager of the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Board (KNCB), shared with ESPNcricinfo that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) approached them, requesting the postponement. The PCB cited scheduling clashes and apprehensions about player fatigue as the driving factors behind this decision.

In response to the request, Roland Lefebvre acknowledged the challenges faced by the PCB, given the demanding playing schedules and the need to prioritize player well-being. He emphasized the positive relationship between the KNCB and the PCB, expressing anticipation for rescheduling the series at a later date.

It is worth noting that the Netherlands had previously hosted a three-match ODI series against Pakistan as part of the Super League, with the Green Shirts emerging victorious in all the fixtures.

The PCB officially confirmed their request for a delay and reassured stakeholders that they are actively exploring alternative timeframes for the tour.
