Supreme Court of Pakistan disqualifies PMLN MPA

The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed an appeal against the disqualification of PML-N MPA Muhammad Kashif Mehmood.
The apex court upheld the disqualification decision of Member Punjab Assembly from Bahawal Nagar, Kashif Mehmood. The Lahore High Court had disqualified him in a fake degree case. The MPA resorted to the Supreme Court and submitted his appeal against the LHC verdict.
The Election Commission of Pakistan had de-notified the Member Punjab Assembly in the bogus educational certificate case.
Kashif Mehmood was elected as an MPA from PP 241, Chishtian.
