PDM to resign from Assemblies and call for early elections

The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) following a meeting put forward the demand from the government to hold general elections in 2022, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.
Moreover, PDM link chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has agreed to Nawaz League's President Shehbaz Sharif for resigning from the assemblies, after heading the Long March towards Islamabad.
Meanwhile, in the meeting, it has also been decided to issue show-cause notices to the members, who were not present in the joint meeting.
Meanwhile, important decisions have been taken in the PDM link meeting.
It is pertinent to mention, PDM link would start a mass contact campaign under which a series of protests, wheel jam strikes and protest marches from one province to another would be held.
