Shahbaz Sharif makes surprise statement about his return back to Pakistan
LONDON – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shahbaz Sharif makes surprise statement about his return back to Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif on Friday responded humorously to a journalist when he was asked about his return to Pakistan.
Talking to media in London on Friday after meeting his elder brother and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Avenfield, he said that the PML-N supremo had underwent cardiac intervention.
The PML-N president said that a doctor specially came from Switzerland for Sharif’s check up, adding that the former prime minister will undergo more medical examinations on Saturday and Monday.
"Nawaz s medical appointments are booked," he said. "If the need arises, he will be taken to the hospital."
Responding to a question about his return to Pakistan, younger Sharif mocked the journalist and said, “I would return to Pakistan if you [journalist] don’t like.
