PM Nawaz Sharif farewell dinner to General Raheel Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is to host a farewell dinner to Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif on Thursday at Prime Minister House.
Sources privy to the PM House have reported that the premier would convene a one-on-one meeting with the outgoing chief and deliberate over appointment of a new leader of the military.
The army chief is to retire on November 29 after a three-year tenure as the Chief of the Army Staff.
