CTD arrests most wanted terrorist

PESHAWAR (APP): The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a militant with a Rs 0.5 million bounty on his head from Peshawar's Hayatabad locality.

The "most wanted" suspect was allegedly involved in a 2009 deadly car bombing in Peshawar's Khyber Bazaar in which 60 people were killed, according to a CTD official.
A CTD team carried out a raid on intelligence tip-off and arrested the terrorist, who has been identified as Feroz Khan.
The 'militant' was also allegedly involved in the murder of Superintendent of Police (Rural) Khurshid Khan.

The apprehended suspect belongs to a proscribed organization and was wanted in more than 30 cases of terrorism, kidnapping for ransom and murder, the official said.
