Another setback for Imran Khan in ECP disqualification case

ISLAMABAD: Another setback awaits PTI Chairman Imran Khan as his top lawyer Hamid Khan has refused to plead his case in the Election Commission of Pakistan.

After refusing to plead the Panama case, Hamid Khan now refuses to represent the PTI chief Imran Khan in the EC.

Naeem Bokhari is now defending Imran Khan in the ECP with regard to the disqualification reference filed against him. However, Imran failed to file his reply in the commission on Tuesday. Bokhari appeared before the ECP and sought time to file the reply.

Imran Khan announces new legal team for Panama Papers case 

PTI’s Secretary General Jehangir Tareen’s lawyer filed a reply and contended that since all the allegations against his client were baseless, the reference should be rejected.
