BCCI refuses to play cricket series with Pakistan at neutral venue of UAE

MUMBAI: The Board of Cricket Control in India BCCI Chief Shshank Manohar said on Thursday, India will not play against Pakistan in UAE. Indian Cricket team can play against Pakistan only in India. We have our own reasons to refuse playing in UAE. If Pakistani Cricket team wants to play cricket series with Indian team they would have to come India for this bilateral series, Manohar said, Claiming He said that “we are fed up with the statement” of our counterpart Shahryar Khan, Everyday he gives different statements about Pakistan and Indian Cricket Series. Replying to the remarks of BCCI president, the chief of PCB’s executive committee Najam Sethi said, “ Pakistani government position is that PCB cannot play in India without the government’s permission which has yet not been given. The government raised security and safety issues to the PCB regarding playing in India”. Sethi questioned why India cannot play in UAE. “I don’t know why India doesn’t want to play in the UAE. It recently played IPL matches there. We are waiting for a fresh proposal from the BCCI. But our position is clear. We are not going to play in India,”
