ISLAMABAD - Pakistani diva Mahira Khan lambasted a Twitter troll blaming showbiz fraternity responsible for rise in the rape cases in the country.

Replying to troll, the Raees actress stated replied, “Really? The ‘vulgarity’ causes someone to go rape a 10 year oldand then kill her? Get a grip. It’s the mindset! It’s the shame associated with it. And no I will not back off. My voice. My life. I will do whatever I want with it.”

Prior to this, on Thursday, Mahira had tweeted about Farishta, the 10-year-old girl whose body was discovered from a forest in Islamabad three days ago and later shifted to the Poly Clinic for post-mortem.

Earlier, the 34-year-old actress urged users to refrain from sharing graphic images of the poor child.

"Sick to my stomach. Stop sharing graphic images of the poor child. For Gods sake!," she wrote, asking if there was a way to stop people from uploading and sharing such pictures.
