Bomb blast in Kabul, Afghanistan

KABUL - A sound of an explosion was heard in the vicinity of the 5th police district of Kabul city.
According to reports, the incident has taken place in the vicinity of Company area of the city but there are no reports regarding the type of the blast, Khaama Press has reported.
In the meantime, a security source, says the blast has taken place due to a magnetic bomb explosion and as a result at least three people have sustained injuries.
The source further added that the blast targeted a police vehicle and two policemen and a civilian are among those wounded.
This comes as the anti-government armed militant and terrorist groups have been attempting to increase attacks in key cities and provinces of the country during the recent months.
The Taliban group recently announced that they will target the security institutions and targets in Kabul city as part of their spring offensive.
