Mosques in Britain attacked in retaliation to the Manchester attack

According to details shared by the imam of the mosque, Mohammad Saddiq, the door of the Jamia Qasmia Zahidia Islamic Centre on Villa Road, Oldham was lit by unidentified persons at 2 am from the letterbox.
"Very soon after a member of the public was walking past and called the fire brigade. Thankfully nobody was inside at the time," he said.
Saddiq said that he had no idea why someone would resort to such an action and that since the three years that he has been associated with the mosque, such an incident has never taken place.
'People are upset. The police are looking at CCTV and investigators were here this morning. We'll definitely need a new door.
'There's a possibility that it's a retaliation to what happened in Manchester last night but we can't confirm that,' he added.
Another mosque's outside wall was vandalised by suspected miscreants with an ISIS graffiti sprayed across the wall. This was also suspected to be in retaliation to the Manchester bombing.
Cops were on the lookout in the form of a patrol outside Glasgow's Central Mosque as someone had vandalised the outside wall of the mosque with the words ISIS sprayed inside a love heart.
'As part of the UK-wide response to these events, Police Scotland continues to review all safety and security plans and operations,' Chief Constable Phil Gormley.
A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said, 'We became aware of the graffiti this morning and sent a team to remove it immediately,' he said.
