Saudi coalition announces ceasefire with Southern Transitional Council

ISLAMABAD-The Saudi-led military coalition in Yemen has announced a ceasefire between the internationally recognized government in Yemen and southern separatists who have declared self-rule.
Coalition spokesman, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki said, in a statement, that the rival groups would hold fresh talks in Saudi Arabia to discuss the truce.
He said the coalition welcomes the response of the legitimate government of Yemen and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) for its request of a comprehensive ceasefire and de-escalation.
