Pak-Afghan border situation discussion to be held in senate

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Senate Standing Committee on Defence will meet on July 25 to discuss Pakistan-Afghanistan border situation.
According to the notice issued by Senate Secretariat, the committee would also discuss issue of Okara military farmlands on the request of Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Farhatullah Babar.
The members will also take up the dispute between Ministry of Defence and the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) over the land in sector G-13, Islamabad.
