Masood warns India to face grave consequences if it launches any misadventure

MUZAFFARABAD: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has warned India to face grave consequences if it mistakenly try to launch any misadventure against Pakistan and said its threats would serve nothing but the armed conflict in South Asia region would brought devastation to India.

He was addressing different congregations in Georgetown University, Qater University and Broking center at Doha on Friday.

He said the Pak Army was red alert to meet any threat if war was imposed by India and asked Indian rulers that they were playing with fire by spreading prejudice and religious hatred which would be destructive for the peace in the region.

Masood asserted that India has launched a campaign of religious hatred, prejudice and intolerance in cover of Palwama episode which was tantamount to play with wildfire and saying that Indian extremist government was pushing South Asia towards armed conflict by patronizing its Hindu Extremist groups with an effort to cover its heinous crimes which it is continuously unleashed in IOK.

The AJK President was of the view that rather to resolve the Kashmir dispute through peace parlays and diplomacy, on the contrary India threatens Pakistan to impose aggression , adding that such an attempt would be repulsed with befitting reply by Pakistan and would yield devastative results for India.

While appreciating the role of Qater in peace process in Afghanistan despite having turmoil situation there,Masood expressed the hope that Qater would also play the role of a facilitator for resolving Kashmir dispute.

He said the every such effort would be welcomed which peacefully resolve the Kashmir issue within the framework of UN charter, UNSC resolutions and as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
