Pakistan Army ready to respond to perpetual threat from East: COAS at Siachen

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa visited the Siachen area today and met with the soldiers and officers deployed at the World's highest battle field.
Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that despite internal security threats, Pakistan Army is fully prepared for effective response against “perpetual threat from the East”.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS made these remarks during his visit to Siachen on Thursday.
