Irregularities worth billions surface in Danish School Project in Punjab: Auditor General Report

LAHORE: The report of Auditor General revealed massive irregularities worth Rs. 1.25 billion in Danish Schools and Danish Schools Authority. Minister for Education Rana Mashood said that notice of irregularities in Danish Schools has been taken by government.
As per details, the Audit report was presented in Punjab Assembly here at Tuesday. The report identified Rs. 1.25 billion irregularities in Danish School project. The report added that no laws have been made yet by authority to give contracts.
Irregularities worth crores have been found in different campuses of Danish schools and action has not been taken against the corrupt officers.
51 lakhs were not recovered yet from the former principal of Danish school Rajinpur and Fazilpur. The principal was struck out over the corruption charges.
Talking about the report, Rana Mashood made it clear that action will be taken against the responsible of irregularities while amount will also be recovered.
