Pakistan declares India now a far greater security risk for cricketing nations

ISLAMABAD - After successfully hosting the two-match Test series it has been proven that Pakistan is ready to welcome all international cricket teams for full-fledged tours.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Ehsan Mani, has also made it clear that all the home series will now be held in the country instead of neutral venues like the United Arab Emirates, which served as Pakistan cricket’s home since the horrendous 2009 terror attacks on Sri Lankan cricket team. ------------------------------

Mani said that if any team isn’t willing to come to Pakistan, they should prove that it’s unsafe here.

The PCB chief termed the historic Sri Lanka tour as a turning point for the revival of cricket in the country, saying that the fans and media have played a massive role in portraying a positive image of Pakistan.

Mani further urged the teams to tour Pakistan without any hesitation especially after the Sri Lanka series. “At this time, India is a far greater security risk than Pakistan,” added Ehsan Mani. Talking about Bangladesh’s backing out, the PCB Chairman said:

I’m hopeful that Bangladesh will tour Pakistan because there’s no reason for not touring. If Sri Lanka can tour Pakistan than why not others.

If the tour goes ahead, Bangladesh will arrive in January to play 3 T20Is and 2 Tests.
