The runway of Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, has been temporarily shut down.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), because of some necessary renovation work, the primary runway of the Allama Iqbal International Airport will remain closed today.
The primary runway will remain closed from 1100 hrs to 1700 hrs and will be reopened before the fog level increases in the evening.
Routine flight operations will not be hampered by the closure of the runaway as a secondary runway is being used for the time being, said the CAA.
