Pakistan’s decision to join 34 nation military alliance against terrorism is in National Interest: Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that Pakistan has decided to join 34 nation military alliance led by Saudi Arabia for national interest. As per details, he was addressing the Senate session. Sartaj said that we are in contact with Saudi Arabia to know about our role in this military alliance. He further added Pakistan’s role against Daesh will increase following participation in military alliance. It is not just military alliance but also a military coalition and coalition countries will determine their responsibilities. He stated. Sartaj also said that matter of 34 nation military alliance will be discussed in parliament and parliament will be taken in confidence regarding the induction of Pakistan in military alliance.
