Fawad Chaudhry likely to be given yet another key assignment by PM Khan

ISLAMABAD – Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry is likely to be given yet another key assignment by PM Imran Khan.
Chaudhry is likely to be appointed as Prime Minister Imran Khan’s spokesperson.
Well-placed sources said on Friday that the federal minister will retain his current portfolio of science and technology; Nadeem Afzal Chan, the current spokesperson, would step down soon.
The PM’s Office will issue a formal notification in a few days. Fawad Ch had earlier served as Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting.
He had been firing a broadside at the opposition both on the floor of the parliament and outside it as well.
Nadeem Afzal Chan was appointed as PM’s spox in January this year.
