Light rain on second day of Eid ul Azha: PMD

KARACHI – Light rain is likely to continue on second day of Eidul Azha, in various areas of Karachi, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted on Thursday.
According to PMD, rain is also expected in Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and some other parts of the country.
Intermittent rain coupled with gusty winds started yesterday that turned the weather pleasant.
Karachi faced severe heatwave during last week and heavy rain has reduced the intensity of heat.
On the other hand, waste management communities have to accelerate their services on the occasion of Eidul Azha when the animals’ waste is lying in the streets and roads.
But still citizens are facing difficulties, therefore, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) and Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) have to work more efficiently.
