PEMRA advice to TV Channels

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Tuesday issued advice to all news and current affairs channels not to telecast or repeat anti-Pakistan slogans raised by the activists of a political party during address of its leader on Monday.
The Pemra has observed that various TV channels during their comments, analysis and news reports are repeating the anti-Pakistan slogans as this was also against the spirit of national action plan
Moreover airing of anti-Pakistan and hate material was against the Pemra code of conduct.
