*ISLAMABAD: **Saudi Arabia Shura council delegating arrives in Pakistan on an important visit.*
*A delegation of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council, headed by its Chairman Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Shaikh arrived in Pakistan on a three-day official visit on Tuesday.*
Senator Raja Zafarul Haq and other distinguished parliamentarian welcomed the delegation at Nur Khan Airbase in Islamabad.
Shura Council’s delegation arrived in Pakistan on the invitation of Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani to further strengthen bilateral relationship between the two brotherly countries and to boost trade and investment cooperation.
During the three-day visit, the delegation will hold meetings with President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, chairman senate, army chief and other high officials.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Shura Council’s delegation arrived in Pakistan after 14 years.
Earlier, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani, on February 12, had said that Pakistan valued its relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and looking forward to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
This he had stated, while talking to newsmen, after inaugurating photography exhibition highlighting Pak-Saudi relations in Islamabad.
