*CHARSADDA: *Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has hit out hard against Chief Justice of Pakistan over withdrawal of security.
He said on Monday that the party will register an FIR against Chief Justice Saqib Nisar if any harm is caused to party leaders due to CJP’s directive to withdraw VIP security.
“Withdrawing security from those individuals who are on terrorists’ hit-list is an unwise decision. ANP has been battling against terrorism for years now, and if any harm is inflicted upon party leaders, we will register an FIR against the CJP,” Asfandyar Wali said while speaking to a workers convention in Qazi Khail.
Taking jabs at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the ANP head said that the Chief Justice has “revealed the truth” about party chairman Imran Khan’s claims of having developed Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
He added that Sirajul Haq’s remarks regarding PTI and the Senate elections are an “eye-opener” for everyone, while he also vowed to “not spare” anyone who tries to interfere in 18th amendment.
Asfandyar continued his criticism of the PTI chief saying that “Imran has eliminated decency from politics due to his language”.
