*ISLAMABAD – The trial of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the tworemaining NAB references will now be held in an open court after theMinistry of Law and Justice withdrew its notification issued on July 13.*

On July 13, the ministry had issued a notification in which it said thecases against Nawaz would be heard at the Adiala jail.

The former PM and his daughter Maryam are currently imprisoned at theAdiala jail after an accountability court sentenced them to jail for 10 andseven years respectively in Avenfield properties case on July 6.
